Roles

The Q-Case system uses different roles for working through the Q-Case process. So basically what this form does is to work as a matrix where different rights can be assigned to different roles.

As a default the roles “ADMIN”, “QUALITY”, “RESPONSIBLE”, “LEADER” and “USER” are pre-defined and can not be deleted from the system. Additionally for these roles there are some rights which can not be removed (indicated by the red checkbox ) but additioal rights can always be added.

If the predefined roles are not flexible enough four your rights concept you can defined a new role using an abritary name but the name must be unique.

New Role

After creating a new role it has no rights as a default but you can assign any right to your role by checking the respective checkbox .

Every time you change the rights of a role you have to click on the icon to the right of the role to apply the new rights. Otherwise the rights would only be applied when the role is assigned to a user.

If a (custom) role is not needed anymore it can be deleted by clicking on the icon to the left of the role.
