Rename Q-Case
Renaming a Q-Case is a very delicate thing because the Q-Case numbers should always be unique for the respective issue. Nevertheless, if it is really necessary to rename a Q-Case you can do it with this form. To rename a Q-Case just select the respective row and click on the icon on the bottom of the table. This will open a pop-up window where you can enter the new Q-Case number.
Before saving the system will check if the new Q-Case number is already available and if yes it will issue an error message. If the number is not used the system will rename the Q-Case without ans further confirmation needed.
You can re-use Q-Case numbers from deleted cases but this will isuue a warning and needs a second confirmation.
